David was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He previously interned at the Florida Aquarium in their husbandry department and with the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) in their Geochemistry lab.

B.S. in Marine Science and Minor in Chemistry, University of Tampa
