Explore & Restore: Family Coral Workshop

Join Mote’s education & citizen science teams this summer for a FREE family-friendly coral workshop. Take at tour of our nursery, learn about our coral research and restoration efforts, observe a special microfragmenting demonstration and make your very own coral craft to take home!
Time: 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Location: Mote’s Islamorada Coral Nursery, located on the property of Bud n’ Mary’s Marina, 79891 Overseas Highway (US Hwy 1) in Islamorada, Florida 33036
Special notes:
- Nursery is located on the waterfront at the northeast corner of the Bud n’ Mary’s property
- This program is designed for Monroe County families with children ages 5+
- ALL participants must be pre-registered (adults & children)
- One adult must register and participate for every 2 minors
