Explore & Restore: Family Coral Workshop

Keys Events Islamorada Slice of Paradise
Join Mote’s education & citizen science teams this summer for a FREE family-friendly coral workshop. Take at tour of our nursery, learn about our coral research and restoration efforts, observe a special microfragmenting demonstration and make your very own coral craft to take home!
Time: 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Location: Mote’s Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research & Restoration (IC2R3), located at located at 24244 Overseas Highway, in Summerland Key, FL 33042
Special notes:
  • Visitors are encouraged to park outside the chain link fence
  • This program is designed for Monroe County families with children ages 5+
  • ALL participants must be pre-registered (adults & children)
  • One adult must register and participate for every 2 minors

This workshop is made possible by funding from the United Way of Collier and the Keys.
