Inspired by the friendships and community that have supported the opening of the new Science Education Aquarium, Mote is excited to invite young scientists to celebrate the fascinating biological “friendships” that sustain ocean ecosystems. Each day camp will focus on different mutualistic relationships between marine species highlighted in Mote’s animal habitats. Campers will explore real-world research laboratories, observe living marine organisms, investigate the mechanisms behind symbiotic interactions, tour the aquarium, and collaborate in team-based activities designed to inspire inquiry and discovery.
