Summer Day Camps at Mote’s City Island Campus

Camp S.M.A.R.T. (Scientific Method And Research Training)

  • Who: Campers ages 6 through 10 years old
  • When: June 30th – July 2nd; 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Where: Mote’s City Island campus
  • Fee: $54/day for members, $60/day for non-members

Can anything be proven in science? How do researchers get results? What is the difference between a variable and a constant? All these questions and more will be answered this week at Mote Day Camp! Each day will have campers discovering how Mote’s researchers form their questions and seek out the answers in the ocean. Self-led research, data collection, hands-on experiments, water-based field explorations and a whole lot of fun await. Sign up for one day or all 3 to unlock the secrets of science!
