Virtual Summer Camp
Color Our Ocean Week
From sea turtles to manatees to sharks and more, campers will embark on a colorful virtual learning journey beneath the waves. Brought to you by Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, Manatee Lagoon – An FPL Eco-Discovery Center®, and Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
Our week-long virtual camps are designed to spark curiosity and inspire young learners through a mix of animal observations, hands-on experiments, games, crafts, and educational lessons—all led by experienced educators from our partner organizations. Each week will explore a different wildlife or environmental theme, with all activities tied to that theme.
- These camps are designed for children ages 6 to 9, though children of other ages are welcome to register and join the fun.
- Camp sessions include a blend of LIVE interactive lessons and on-your-own online activities and resources.
- Can’t make it to a live session? No problem—recordings will be posted in the online classroom so you can catch up anytime.
Registration is required. One registration per household is all you need. The program is free for individuals and families, but voluntary donations are appreciated. Contributions will be shared among the partner organizations that make this program possible. Thank you for your support!

Important Information After You Register:
Once you complete your online registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Then, the week before your camp session begins, you’ll get a second email with a link to the Camp Welcome Packet. The Welcome Packet includes:
- Instructions for accessing the Google Classroom for your registered session
- Guidelines for joining the camp’s live lessons using links found within the classroom
