Join us for a one-hour lecture and Q&A to learn about her life and legacy. \nWe will explore Clark’s pioneering fieldwork\, her early efforts to establish Cape Haze Marine Laboratory and her lasting influence on the development of Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium. \nIn honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month\, this lecture recognizes Dr. Clark as a pioneering Japanese American scientist and educator whose work continues to inspire new generations of shark scientists. \nThis lecture is the first in a series of three lectures from Road Scholar. \n\n“Sharks After “Jaws” — Science\, Myths & Conservation” (#25720) scheduled on Monday\, June 8\, 2026\, at 1 p.m. (ET)/ 10 a.m. (PT)\n“Live from the Shark Habitat — Inside Mote Aquarium” (#25721) on Monday\, July 20\, 2026\, at 1 p.m. (ET)/ 10 a.m. (PT).\n\nThe cost is $25 per lecture. This live online experience uses Zoom Webinar. All you need is an Internet connection and your computer.
