Come join us and be inspired by the work of young conservation leaders through a showcase of student driven ocean conservation projects and films! Meet young people making a difference to protect our blue planet, and hear from ocean conservation leaders of all ages.
This year’s event will feature a special screening of the film The Smog of the Sea. This impactful documentary, from filmmaker Ian Cheney, chronicles a research expedition through the Sargasso Sea. The Smog of the Sea makes an artful call to action for rethinking single-use plastic.
The event will also feature a silent auction/raffle fundraiser with marine themed silent auction items including art, photography, and ocean themed prizes donated by renowned artists and conservation organizations. Proceeds will support the Youth Ocean Conservation Summit program.
Admission to this event is free, however due to limited seating an RSVP is required. Attendees can RSVP using the registration button above or the form at www.yocs.org.
