Field Explorations - Endless Oceans Class

During the final class we will review the highlights of the semester, present research projects, answer any final questions and conclude by exploring Sarasota Bay using various field sampling techniques.

Be prepared to wade in the water (knee to waist deep) during the field sampling portion of the class.:
- Closed-toed, closed-heel water shoes, such as Crocs or SCUBA booties are required to go into the water; participants will not be allowed in the water barefoot.
- Participants should wear light-weight, comfortable clothes that dry quickly (clothes may become wet or dirty) and/or a bathing suit.
- We recommend a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses for protection from the sun.
- Participants should also bring a filled, reusable water bottle, towel, change of clothes, a jacket if weather is cool, and a dry bag.

Please Note: This class is part of Mote's Endless Oceans: Marine 101 course. Semester and single class registration available. Pre-registration is required. Ages 18 and up only.
