Florida Red Tide causes severe negative impacts on the environment, economies and human health along Florida's west coast, and periodically the Atlantic coast. As a result of the severe 2018-2019 Red Tide, The Florida Legislature,  Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission initiated the 6 year Red Tide Mitigation and Technology Development Initiative. This Initiative provides funding for Mote scientists to partner with other institutions and companies to conduct extensive laboratory and field research on the efficacy of a variety of potential products and technologies to mitigate the adverse effects of Red Tide, some of which you will hear about during this presentation.

  • Tickets to attend in person: $15 each for non-members ($10 for members)
