Unfortunately, we are writing to let you know we need to postpone next week’s Teach-A-Kid Fishing and Ecology Clinic that was scheduled for Saturday, September 23. The event has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 21 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Mote Aquaculture Research Park (12300 Fruitville Road Sarasota, FL 34240). Kids ages 5-16 can learn from professional guides and experienced anglers during Mote's Teach-a-Kid Fishing & Ecology Clinic on October 21, 2017 at Mote Aquaculture Park (MAP). The clinic is designed to school young anglers about enjoying Florida's fisheries while helping to sustain them.
Cost: $10/child. Cost includes lunch. Each registered child receives a rod, reel and tackle kit.
Registration is required and is limited to 110 youth.

Mote Aquarium hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, closing at 1 p.m. due to anticipated traffic from Friday-evening road closures announced by the Town of Longboat Key.
