05/31/2016 Juvenile green sea turtle found on beach at Sanibel Harbor Marriot and taken to C.R.O.W.
06/04/2016 Animal transferred to Mote. "Finn" is in good body condition (weighs 18.6 kg), but does have a minor amount of fibropapilloma tumors and poissible red tide toxicity. Given subcutaneous fluids and put in tank with low water level. Animal is active.
06/09/2016 Finn is still not eating, but is swimming well. Giving fluids daily.
06/13/2016 Finn has started eating a few pieces of turtle grass daily
06/23/2016 Raised water level in tank to full. Finn is eating all sea grass offered and occasionally eating fish if hidden in the sea grass.
06/24/2016 Finn had surgery to remove the existing Pap tumors and is back in his tank and doing well
07/01/2016 Animal is eating well - foraging for squid and capelin
08/06/2016 Finn is doing well and is in the process of being cleared for release
08/12/2016 Mote staff and interns released Finn off Sanibel today!
