Glorious Morning

03/25/2017  Animal was found on Holmes Beach, FL and was transported to Mote for rehab.  Animal is severely emaciated, has several fibropapilloma tumors, is covered in algae and barnacles, and had some fishing line wrapped around one of the larger tumors.  "Glorious Morning" was given subcutaneous fluids and dry docked overnight due to extreme lethargy.

03/26/2017  Further diagnostics including blood work and radiographs were performed.  Animal was started on injectable antibiotics and will continue to receive subcutaneous fluids once daily until eating well.  Glorious Morning is now in a tank with very low water level.

03/27/2017  Animal showed no interest in eating on its own or actively foraging, but did swallow a few small pieces of capelin that was put in its mouth.  Overall, animal is still very lethargic

03/29/2017  Unfortunately, animal died overnight.
