12/22/2020 Turtle "244" stranded as part of the Cold Stun event in New England. 244 was brought to National Marine Life Center where it was then transfered to Mote Marine's Sea Turtle Hospital by a group called Turtles Fly Too, a non-profit organization of volunteer private pilots. Here the turtle was deemed "Todd". Todd was given fluids and placed in a rehabilitation pool.
01/07/2021 Todd is slowly recovering. Todd is being force fed oral supplements and an anti-fungal while also receiving injectable antibiotics and fluids once a week.
01/14/2021 Todd has been nibbling at food occasionally but today really started eating well for the first time!
01/17/2021 Todd has been taken off antibiotics and the anti-fungal.
02/03/2021 Todd is eating well and is much more active. Waiting for him to gain some weight before being cleared for release.
02/25/2021 Todd, Eddie, Rusty, Lewis, and Ellen were transported and released by Mote staff at New Smyrna Beach!
