3/28/14 This turtle was transferred from Volusia Marine Science Center after it was found floating at some docks near Marine Inlet Villas. They noted s suspicious skin lesion and took a biopsy. The turtle was brought to Mote. The lesion was identified as a fibropapilloma tumor, which was removed.

4/21/14 The turtle has recovered well and is ready to be released.

5/7/14 Turtle was released in Volusia County.
