Mote Announces Dates for Full Moon Kayak Paddles and Other Fall Educational Programs

The eclipse may be over but your celestial adventures don’t have to be. Mote Marine Laboratory is excited to announce the dates for their Fall Full Moon Kayak Paddles. These one and half hour paddles take place on Sarasota Bay during twilight hours and educate participants about the importance of our estuaries and their connection to Mote research. This year Mote will offer three separate opportunities for this unique event: 9/6, 11/4, and 12/3.

Ages: Full moon paddles are only offered for adults 18-years-old and older.

Cost: Mote members: $24 per person for Mote members; $28 for non-members. All kayaking equipment is provided, and class begins with basic kayaking instruction.

Reservations: Required 24 hours before the program begins. Programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and are subject to change or cancellation based on weather conditions. Mote does not provide refunds unless the program is canceled.
