Mote Science Café: The Teeth Beneath

Please join us on October 12th at Libby's LBar for a conversation about "The Teeth Beneath!" Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Cafe and conversation will run from 6-7:30 p.m.

Don’t be fooled by that smile! Join in the conversation about The Teeth Beneath, Florida’s top predators: crocs, sharks and dolphins. Our featured speakers will dispel common myths about these creatures and invite you to discover their amazing adaptations and predatory interactions. Sink your teeth into some delicious food and beverages at LBar or stay for dinner at Libby's Cafe.

Harkening back to the days of salons that explored the topics of the day during the 1920's, Mote Science Cafés are informal discussions that give everyone the chance to participate. Topics are designed to help you discover relationships between everyday things and our marine world.

Suggested audience: Adults 21 and older. Please note that this program takes place in a bar/lounge and that alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. The conversation will be geared toward an adult audience.
