On Saturday, Oct. 22, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium partnered with The Circus Arts Conservatory for Circus by the Sea, to celebrate the arts and culture of these unique organizations right in your backyard! See photos below!
Guests watched performances by Sailor Circus students surrounded by underwater wonders. There was juggling, aerial silk routines and a lot of fun.
Mote and The Circus Arts Conservatory hoped to inspire children of all ages to step out of their comfort zone at Circus by the Sea and asked guests to try circus acts like juggling or hula hooping.
This was a first time collaboration between the two organizations, which is part of InspireSarasota!, a two week celebration of the arts and culture of Sarasota, which is hosted by the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County.
