- Rescuing and rehabilitating marine animals that will perish without help.
- Growing tens of thousands of live corals to restore Florida’s Coral Reef and countless juvenile fish to repopulate local waterways.
- Leading conservation efforts for thousands of sea turtle nests on Florida’s shores.
- Providing daily care for more than 100 animal species in Mote Aquarium, and much more.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 did stop one thing—visitation to Mote Aquarium, a primary source of our funding. Though the Aquarium has reopened at limited capacity, significant revenue losses threaten to slow our critical scientific progress. Meanwhile, the challenges facing our oceans are accelerating.
