Built by members of the Seminole Indian tribe, the Chickee picnic area is an outside covered pavilion next to beautiful Sarasota Bay. This tiki-hut atmosphere can be transformed from a casual beach setting to an elegant, on-the-water ambiance—a wonderful place to hold birthday parties, company picnics or casual wedding rehearsal dinners. Picnic area includes electricity, water, wooden picnic tables with chairs, existing grill with two smokers and existing seashell inlaid bar.

If the Chickee has not been booked, we can offer a Celebration of Life rate – may not be booked more than two weeks in advance.

If you are booking the Chickee in addition to another venue space at Mote (New Pass Room, Aquarium Courtyard or WAVE Center) the following rates apply:

- Wedding Ceremony Only $550
