Senior Manager of Creative Services

Alexis (Balinski) Crabtree joined the Mote family as a graphic designer in May 2014. In 2019, she was promoted to Manager of Visual Engagement, where she was responsible for the presentation of Mote's visual brand to a number of different audiences. In 2024, Alexis was promoted to Senior Manager of Creative Services. In this new role, she provides direction, management and mentorship for the CRC's incredible creative team — a talented collection of graphic designers, photographers and writers. Alexis works closely with Mote's PR & Marketing team, as well as other heads of departments, to establish deadlines, milestones and workflow processes for the successful execution of creative projects at Mote. 

Education

B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a minor in Marine Science.
