Amber is a lifetime resident of Sarasota and Manatee Counties, with a strong knowledge and passion for the local waterways and marine life. You can likely find her on the water every weekend!

Before deciding to follow her dreams and becoming a part of Mote's Research Team, Amber spent many years in grant accounting and office supervision, with local agencies. She is excited to be a part of our Sponsored Programs Office and is most excited about the Red Tide Initiative Project, as the cause is very important to her and to our community.

Coral reefs provide more than $2.7 trillion in services to economies worldwide—but we're losing these important ecosystems quickly. Mote scientists are spearheading coral reef restoration using cutting-edge science.
