Patricia joined the Mote Marine Laboratory as a Lab Technician in the Benthic Ecology Program in 1981. Between the years of 1984-1995, she worked in the Marine Biomedical Program assisting Dr. Luer and Dr. Walsh with their research. In 1996, Patricia joined the Ecotoxicolgy Program as the Extraction Lab Manager responsible for the sample extractions, QA/QC, and running the LC/MS(MS) used primarily for the analysis of red tide toxins and mosquito pesticides.
