James Javaruski

Staff Chemist

James received his B.S. in Marine Science and his M.S. in Environmental Science from Florida Gulf Coast University, joining Mote Marine Laboratory as a Staff Chemist for the Ecotoxicology research program soon after. His interests range from studying the fate of red tide toxins in southwest Florida ecosystems to pesticide runoff. As an AAUS-certified scientific diver, he especially enjoys any research project that gets him underwater.
