Jessyca Garlock

Keys Education Programs Coordinator

Jessyca was born and raised in Florida. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of South Florida, where she did her undergraduate research in oyster reef ecology. After graduation, Jessyca moved to the Florida Keys to intern in the Ocean Acidification program at Mote’s Tropical Research Lab. After several internships at various labs and locations, Jessyca decided to pursue her passion for education and outreach by getting her Florida Teacher Certification and working as a STEM Lab teacher in Key West. Jessyca is currently the Keys Education Programs Coordinator at Mote’s Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research and Restoration.
