Michael is a Staff Biologist and Islamorada Nursery Manager at Mote's new land-based coral nursery in Islamorada, Florida. He started with Mote in early 2021 and is part of Mote's coral reef restoration team and has an extensive background in tropical marine field operations, research, and outreach. Michael will be managing Mote's coral restoration efforts and community outreach in the upper Florida Keys.
