Growing up in Grove City, Pennsylvania, Chloe would visit the Sarasota area with her family yearly. From those trips grew a passion for the marine environment. Chloe earned a degree in marine science at Bowling Green State University. She is a part of the academic honor society Phi Beta Kappa which aims to promote education in the arts and sciences. Stemming from her academics is where she first discovered a spark for education as she took on a summer internship as an educator in Destin, Florida. In May of 2023, she joined the Mote Camp team as an educator. Next, Chloe joined the Education Department of Mote as a full time staff member in February of 2024. She strives to make an impact by reaching out to the public and increasing their understanding about the ocean and the organisms that live within it. Her dream is that this knowledge will help in the conservation and appreciation of the marine ecosystem.
