Ralph Corse became a Volunteer Coordinator with Mote in July 2015. He began his career as a science and biology teacher in Missouri and later became the Director of Curriculum and Instruction in Kansas City, Mo. Ralph retired from education in 2011, moved to Anna Maria Island and began volunteering as a Mote Aquarium Guide. He also served as an officer on the Mote Volunteer Association Board of Directors. Ralph lives an active life boating, biking, hiking, and kayaking with his wife, Denise and their Australian Shepherd, Marina. He and Denise also volunteer on the Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch and Shorebird Monitoring Program.
