Logan Marion

Staff Biologist

Logan Marion is a Staff Biologist at Mote’s Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research & Restoration on Summerland Key. Hailing from Illinois, he fell in love with aquatic ecosystems by fishing and diving throughout the country. At UW-Madison, Logan applied focus to limnology, studying the conservation and restoration of freshwater ecosystems. After interning with Mote’s Coral Restoration Program in the fall of 2022, he continued to practice coral aquaculture research in the Florida Keys. Now, as a staff member, Logan assists with the husbandry, propagation, out planting, and monitoring of ex-situ grown corals.
