Biography:

Caroline graduated from the University of South Florida in 2021 with a B.S. in Biology with a Concentration in Marine Biology. During her time in college she volunteered and interned with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. After graduating she worked for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for two years. Originally working as a Laboratory Technician IV and was promoted to Chemist I after ten months. Caroline joined the team in 2023 as a Staff Chemist doing monthly field sampling, red tide mitigation experiments, and water quality analyses. She analyzes water samples for nutrients on the Autoanalyzer 3 as well as tests water quality for color, turbidity and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD).
