Adopt an Axolotl

Axolotls are salamanders (a type of amphibian) known for their remarkable ability to regenrate parts of their bodies, such as spinal cord, skin, and lung tissue. They are critically endangered in their natural habitat, Lake Xochimilco in Mexico City, but are often found in human care. As legend has it, the Axolotl is the Aztec god of fire and lightning, Xolotl, who disguised himself as a salamander to avoid being sacrificed.
