Belted sandfish prey on small benthic crustaceans like crabs and shrimp, as well as zooplankton and other bony fishes.

Range & Habitat:

Staying relatively close to the surface, belted sandfish reside in 3-100 meters of water anywhere from North Carolina to Cuba.
