Scouts may earn marine-themed badges and patches by joining us for full-day Scout events and on-demand workshops.
Scouts BSA Merit Badges
Scouts may complete all merit badge requirements during these all-day workshops, which combine hands-on classroom activities, field exploration and discussions. We offer four workshops: Kayaking, Fish & Wildlife Management, Environmental Science, and Oceanography workshops on a rotating basis throughout the year. Scouts must complete all prerequisites (details in the registration packet) before the workshop and bring their blue cards with them in order to earn the badge. Scouts will also need to be prepared to go in the water (closed toe shoes, swimsuits, change of clothes and sun protection).
New! Our Merit Badge programs have gone virtual!
Registration is now open! We recieved such incredible feedback from Scouts and their families after our program in May that we are bringing more virtual workshop opportunities this summer. These programs are open to Scouts anywhere in the world. If you have any questions about these programs, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Check back here for fall/winter dates.
