Spring Break at Mote: Family, Fins, and Fun!
Looking for something to do together during Spring Break? Join us for some family fun starting March 11th!
Please note that none of these activities are drop-off programs. They are for all ages (kayaking for ages 12 and up) and require all children to be accompanied by paid, participating adults. All participants MUST pre-register. See each program link and description for additional details and to purchase tickets. These programs do NOT include aquarium admission. Saturday 3/11 @ 11:00 AM - Family Dip Netting in the Bay
Splash into Sarasota Bay! Join Mote for some fun outdoor exploration. Participants will use dip nets to explore the nearshore seagrass beds and learn about the plants and animals that call the Bay home. REGISTER HERE!
Monday 3/13 @ 10:00 AM - Morning Paddle
Start your day off right with a guided kayak tour of Sarasota Bay. Paddle across shallow seagrass beds and take in the wildlife that depends on this ecosystem. Soak up some sun as we look for dolphins, manatees, birds and more. REGISTER HERE!

Wednesday 3/15 @ 11:00 AM - Seashore SEAfari
Put on your adventure hat and explore the mangrove forest at the end of City Island with one of our professional educators. Learn about the importance of this incredible habitat and complete a seashore scavenger hunt while enjoying one of the best views in Sarasota. REGISTER HERE!

Saturday 3/18 @ 8:30 AM - Breakfast with the Sharks
You and your chums will have a great time sinking your teeth into a light continental breakfast while you learn about our favorite finned friends and Mote’s breakthrough shark research. During this program, you'll meet our resident sharks, watch a narrated feeding of our bonnetheads, and have all of your shark questions answered. After breakfast, you’ll learn about the breakthrough research going on at Mote during a guided tour of our Aquarium. REGISTER HERE!
