Mote Welcomes Back Marketing and Public Relations Manager
Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium is excited to welcome back Kaitlyn Fusco as Marketing and Public Relations Manager.
Fusco rejoined Mote’s Community Relations and Communications team in March 2023. She previously held the role of Public Relations Manager from 2015-2017.
In her new role, Fusco is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Mote’s marketing and communications strategy. This includes working with Sean Stover, Communications Coordinator, on earned, paid and social media efforts to continually raise awareness for Mote research, education and Mote’s leading informal marine science education experience – Mote Aquarium.
Fusco earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Central Florida and most recently served as Associate Publisher of Central Florida Lifestyle publications and Communications Manager at The Florida Aquarium.
In addition, Fusco is an award-winning writer with a strong interest in marine life and conservation. On rejoining Mote, Fusco said, “I’m thrilled to be rejoining the Mote family! I look forward to continue growing my passion for marine science and conservation in this role.”
