Alex Borreil

Biography:

Alex is a Staff Biologist with Mote Marine Laboratory’s Elizabeth Moore International Center for Coral Reef Research and Restoration, Summerland Key, FL. She has always had a stong love for the marine world and was a dive instructor in the Caribbean throughout college summers. Previous to Mote, she worked in the Bahamas working and as an Environmetal Educator and a Dive Operations Manager. She also worked in the Turks and Caicos as a Research and Waterfront Assistant where she helped lead the building of South Caicos’s first in situ coral nursery. Alex is thrilled to be part of Mote’s field team!
