Biography:
Alexis was an intern in the Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program (STCRP) in 2013, and remained with the program as a staff member until 2016. She then continued sea turtle work at Loggerhead Marinelife Center and Collier County Parks and Recreation for the next several years while she obtained a masters degree. Her thesis focused on population structure of olive ridley sea turtles in Ghana, West Africa. Alexis returned to the STCRP in 2018 to continue her work in the field of sea turtle monitoring, research and conservation.
