Biography:

Camia came to Mote in 2005 after a stint in the Peace Corps and several years working in the medical field. She is Field Coordinator for the Chemical and Physical Ecology Department and organizes and oversees all sampling. She is currently involved in Red Tide research and monthly monitoring, heading up the Continuous Monitoring project for the City of North Port. As well as field work, Camia does several NELAC analyses and runs the spectrophotometer and fluorometers both bench top an in-situ.

Education:

B.S. in Chemistry with an emphasis in Biochemistry, Arizona State University
