Claire Messmer

Biography:

Claire was born and raised in landlocked Colorado, but has always been fascinated by the ocean. As a child, she attended summer day camps at Denver Zoo, where she went on to contribute over 1,000 hours of volunteer service as a Teen Volunteer. As a volunteer, Claire discovered her love for informal education and interpretation. Upon graduation from Colorado State University with her Professional Science Master’s degree, Claire moved from Denver, CO to Sarasota, FL, where she loves learning from all of Mote’s incredible volunteers, interns, staff.
