Katherine Felch

Biography:

Marine science has taken Katherine from Maine to Washington State, and finally to Florida where she is excited to be a part of the Red Tide Initiative in the role of Culture Lab Technician. Katherine’s graduate research focused on the distribution and abundance of the cyanobacteria, Synechococcus, in the Salish Sea. She most recently worked as a Water Lab Technician in the Microbiology department for Seattle Public Utilities. Katherine enjoys exploring the outdoors, bird watching, and singing karaoke whenever possible.
