Jaime Fogel

Library & Archives Director

Jaime Fogel is pleased to serve as the director of the Arthur Vining Davis Library & Archives. She is a library and archives professional with more than 10 years’ experience working with special collections. Prior to joining Mote, Jaime served as the library & archival collections manager at Bok Tower Gardens where she oversaw all aspects of the library and archival collections including processing and digitizing collections, numerous grant funded projects, and a complete remodel of the library. In addition, she also created several traveling exhibits and was part of the team redesigning the permanent exhibit in the visitor center.

Despite having grown up in the desert, Jaime has a longtime love of marine life and is delighted to bring her skills to Mote to preserve Mote’s important history, to help researchers access the information that they need to continue their important work, and to explore new and exciting ways share Mote research with educators, students, and the public at large.
