I am Programs Manager for Virtual Learning at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota, FL. I design, develop, and deliver distance learning programs and collaboratively produce live events for audiences of all ages. I am the technical director for our award-winning SEA Trek virtual learning programs and multimedia producer for free SEA Show content. I also help manage Mote's various educational technologies like the distance learning studios and computer lab.
I am a certified Florida Master Naturalist and Instructor and serve as the Central West representative on the FMNP advisory board. In addition to FMNP, I also lead Endless Oceans, Mote's lifelong learning program.
I am a board member of the Florida Marine Science Educators Association and a FMSEA/FWC Aquatic Species Collection Workshop instructor. I am a member of the National Association of Interpretation and the Children's Media Association. In 2022 I joined the advisory board for the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration. Prior to Mote, I worked in public television and in environmental project management for the state of Florida.
