Meet the Team

Nancy moved to Sarasota from Boone, North Carolina where she worked for University Recreation at Appalachian State University. Prior to that she was an Environmental Education Specialist and Park Ranger for Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation in Charlotte, North Carolina. Nancy began her career as a Park Ranger for Colorado State Parks and worked at several parks around the state. She’s also worked at Discovery Place Science Museum in Charlotte, Camp Broadstone (Appalachian State), and in the private sector in residential construction. Nancy is originally from Plattsburgh, New York and has a Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University College of Forestry and has graduated from the Colorado Springs and Charlotte police academies. In her spare time Nancy enjoys the beach, pool, gardening with flowers, antiquing/thrifting, spending time in the mountains and traveling.
