Final Disposition

This turtle was found floating about 5 miles offshore from Point o’ Rocks, Sarasota. It is lethargic but not anemic and has air in its coelomic cavity making it float. It is missing its left front flipper and has been started on fluids and antibiotics. 8/14 Turtle seems more alert this morning. Showed interest in food but did not eat. 8/16 Still not eating, but is still interested in food. Doing well otherwise. 8/18 Turtle died suddenly last night. Necropsy is pending.
