Diet:

Barred thicklip wrasses filter feed for their food by taking in sand and eating any invertebrates or marine debris they may catch. After they've caught their prey, they'll release the sand back into the water through their gill slits.

Range & Habitat:

Barred thicklip wrasse can be found among sandy and rocky bottom areas near coral colonies. They exist in the Indo-Pacific range.
