Range & Habitat:
Beaugregory fish can be found in coral reef communities of the northern Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Bahamas, south Florida and western Atlantic Ocean. They're also commonly found in seagrass beds and sandy flat areas.
Details:
Beaugregory fish are known for their bright blue heads and backs with yellow bellies. Juveniles have a dark spot where the dorsal spines and soft rays meet. The only way to tell males from females is by observing their mating behavior.
