The bignose unicornfish has an elongated, oval-shaped body with a distinctive, protruding snout. Despite the name, not all unicornfish have a “horn”—bignose unicornfish lack the prominent forehead spike seen in other unicornfish species. These fish can shift their body coloration depending on mood, environment, or stress levels.
