Oregon to northern Baja California.

Details:

These fish can be bluish, greenish or silver-gray, often with dark mottling. Their tail is slightly forked. They feed on zooplankton, small fish, squid and crustaceans. Unlike most fishes, which lay eggs, blue rockfish give birth to live young.
