The feather blenny is a small fish, only reaching a maximum length of 3-4 inches (9-10 centimeters).

Diet:

These fish eat algae, worms, soft corals and crustaceans like shrimp and crab.

Range & Habitat:

Along coral reefs, heavily vegetated areas and soft bottom habitats, the feather blenny can be found in the western Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.

Details:

The feather blenny is spotted with white and brown coloring on its entire body. Their dorsal fin is fanned out along their back. They have two small feathery extensions just above their eyes that help them sense their surroundings. These feathers are where they got their name.
