Range & Habitat:
Commonly found on rocks from shallow water to 160 feet (48.8 meters) deep, fish-eating anemones exist in the cooler waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean.
Details:
Fish-eating anemones have an orange-red base and long white tentacles with pink tips. At the tip of each tentacle is a bundle of nematocysts, or stinging cells, that help the anemone catch its prey and defend itself from predators.
